The K1 Series is a virtually indestructible, completely weatherproof access control Keypad. Easily configured in the field, the K1 provides a migration path from a 500 user stand alone access controller to an OEM compatible Keypad Reader (26 Bit Wiegand, 8 Bit Word, Serial ASCII...). Utilizing Essex proprietary Piezoelectric Billion Cycle Switch Technology, the K1 is unsurpassed in its ability to tolerate any environment.
