The Wireless IP Reader-Controller communicates door access information with a wireless router or network access point located up to 1,000 feet away. The panel-free system conforms to the 802.11b standard and can use WEP or WPA encryption, including PSK and TKIP options. This innovation offers state of the art access control for difficult security environments where wires are impractical or impossible, while also providing traditional settings with significant cost-savings via easy, wire-free installation.
