Cisco IP Interoperability and Collaboration System (IPICS) is a communication system that integrates disparate push-to-talk “walkie talkie” radio systems together with other communication resources like analog phones and other IP-based wired and wireless devices including cell phones, Wi-Fi laptops, PDAs and IP phones. With Cisco IPICS, large enterprises can improve safety, security and real-time operations. For example, hospitals use Cisco IPICS to integrate ambulances with the front office and provide notification to doctors and nurses.
